Prepare for TMEA All-State band auditions and clinic — February 11-14, 2026, with regional seating auditions January 20-23
To audition for Texas TMEA All-State, you must meet all of the following:
TMEA All-State auditions use selected audition books and etudes specific to each instrument. All materials are released in phases throughout the spring and summer.
Prescribed audition lists are published in the official TMEA All-State audition books. These contain the passages you'll perform for the seating audition.
Specific etudes for each instrument are selected by TMEA's etude selection committee. Download them immediately — they have tight deadlines.
Etude videos performed by professional musicians are available at no cost. Sign up at go.tmea.org/2025etudevideos-band by August 1.
Download all materials directly from TMEA's All-State Band Audition Material page. Contact your band director for your specific assigned materials.
